Time flies when you're having fun (to say nothing of the way it moves when you're sleep deprived)! Laia is a year and a half now, she runs, jumps, climbs, yells, hugs, kisses, walks, rolls, waves at buses, and talks more or less non-stop. Not that we know anyone else who talks non-stop, now, do we?
For those interested in this sort of thing, she stands roughly 32 inches high and weighs in at 23 pounds even. She looooooves watching Signing Times dvds (and has a good strong ASL vocab of about 100-150 words) and has recently discovered Sesame Street (she dances to all the songs and will make her dolls and teddy bears dance too). Yes, we know that the under-two set shouldn't watch TV. However, the over-30 set occasionally like to use the toilet alone and/or drink an entire cup of super-strong coffee without sharing. It's a terrible habit that the toddler years will surely break us of, but till then...she can watch Signing Times and Sesame Street!
Laia is still nursing, co-sleeping, and in general being the loving and attached munchkin she has always been. We can't wait to see what happens next in this amazing toddler adventure story!
