My very most awesome friends and family threw a "Baby Blob Pre-Birth Bash" on February 12th in honor of the munchkin in my middle. Even better, people took pictures! (Okay, the pictures are cool, but I do have to admit the swag was pretty awesome as well).

The theme was "Alice in Wonderland" with Mike dressed up as the White Rabbit and your's truly playing the Queen of Hearts. I even got a nifty crown!

Everyone brought beads for me to make a "baby blob support necklace like object" to wear during labor, the games were much good fun (mostly involving logic puzzles and Wonderland trivia), and the food was wonderful.

And then everyone got really crafty...my mom made the world's coolest diaper bags and my nonna made an amazing baby blanket. Since I'm not a total slacker in the fabric arts department that means blob has three generations of crafty women to look up to. Hurray for the blob!

Who knew Diaper Cake could be so yummy and still be good for you? You take some diapers, you twist them into layers, you add a dash of swag and a dollop of ribbon and sha-zam! A diaper cake is born. It's a bit scary, but fun at the same time...
