We made King Cake, we made a mean Bloody Mary, we boiled up some shrimp, we had waffles and ice cream and colored syrups and beer. We threw beads and braved the snow to watch the Drag Queens skip/strut/stumble down State Street (heels and slush don't really mix). We did out part to keep the Mardi Gras spirit alive in Ithaca!

Of course, there are books about Valentine's Day...and we know how much Laia loves her books! Mama gets the chocolate, Lala gets the books, the grrls are happy. V-Day

But sometimes books aren't enough...that's when Laia turns to her trusty cache of DVDs for some amusement.
