Happy Holidays! Laia's first Christmas was wonderful, despite the fact that she had her very first cold (rivers of snot with every sneeze and a low grade fever). A good time was had by all, especially once Laia figured out it was okay to rip open those packages! I think we may have created a monster...what do you think? Books made a big hit this Christmas...Laia got a whole stack of little books to read. And read she does...even if she happens to read in "baby" (a dialect not spoken by many in this house).

We then entered the uncharted waters of "Stuffed Toy Land"! Although we can't share every adventure, as there simply isn't the time, we can bring you these happy highlights...

All the way from sunny CA and the great-grand parents. Lots of little people, a camel, a sheep, a donkey... AND a little house to put them in!

The day was long and filled with fun. Here Laia takes the time to show her Dada her brand new ball.

And then she takes a trip in the "cart" (also known as "the plastic box in which presents were carried"). She looooooooved being pushed back and forth in her little chariot!
