The ongoing adventure of Laia Anne Chiment Scimeca on-goes! The standard "why I'm not a bells and whistles website" disclaimer (I have no time cause I work at Olin Library 25 hours a week and we're winterizing the house the rest of the time, I'm not getting any hard-core coffee, and sleep? What is this sleep you speak of?) still applies, so please be kind!

That said, November has already been an exciting month. We've been to London to see the Queen (or at least, we've been to Boston to see the Kristin). We took Laia to the grand opening of the Stoughton IKEA (it was fun, it was frabjous, it was insane). We noshed on apple and avocado and banananananas (oh my!). We even waved flags on veteran's day and made faces at a clown. And we've not even reached We'll see how that goes...

The world is so full of wonderful things...but Laia's not convinced apples are on the list. More taste testing is required.

On the other hand, Dunkin' Donut bags are certainly yummy...an excellent pre-lunch snack for all ages!

We hit the road to visit friends and experience the wonder of an IKEA grand opening. The lines...the traffic...the inexpensive flat pack furniture... What more could you ask other than a warm car seat and a chance to make faces at a clown?

Let the adventures in Flat Pack begin!

They had a clown. I don't know why. Can you flat pack a clown? Perhaps.

We've learned some important lessons from our recent travels. Laia likes donut bags and brightly colored Swedish children's furniture. She is with-holding judgement on clowns. And she cannot be trusted to avoid the near temptation of paper towels...

On top of IKEA and the trip to Boston, Laia ran into her first snow storm. Sure...she's smiling now, but wait till February and it's still dark and cold! Even her little bitty snow suit may be no match for Ithaca weather.

All smiles for the brand new snow...the snow didn't stick, but the smiles just got bigger.

Onward towards Turkey Day we go... but till then, true-believers, enjoy life upside down!
