The holidays are upon us, so without further ado... the family Chiment-Scimeca!

Ahhhhh....halloween! Laia was a dragon and Rowan a duck. I begged for candy as a pirate and Mike was a Lost Boy all grown up.

We hit the Cornell Halloween Trail, map in hand, and after an hour of walking had a nice (little) bag of candy. Laia didn't need any prompting but dumped her candy on the floor before indulging in FIVE pieces of candy. Mike and I helped with the "extra"...a trick that probably wont work so well next year.

As the sugar buzz fades, Turkey Day dawns. For the first time ever we did Turkey Day away from home. We had a pre-Tday trial run at home, then off to Grandma's house we went. Rowan doesn't really like the car, but other than that the day went well.

Home again, the weather turned chilly and the snow started to fall...Rowan's first snow and Laia's first snowball (she was talking about snowballs and snowball fights for days and finally the snow arrived to make it a reality).

Christmas is coming and the geese are getting fat...so I'll leave you all with the classic "winter baby in Ithaca" photo. I give you....
